The Project Management Institute (PMI) is an organisation of choice for Project Management Professionalism. Founded in 1969, and with 181,288 members worldwide as at June 2005, PMI is the leading non-profit professional association in the area of Project Management.

The Queensland Chapter of the PMI has been established to advance the objectives of PMI by promoting Project Management professionalism in local businesses, universities and professional organisations in Queensland, Australia.  The Chapter was incorporated 3 Dec 2004 as PMI - Queensland Chapter Inc.

Through our local network of Project Management professionals, the Queensland Chapter of the PMI will help individuals strengthen their knowledge, awareness and understanding of Project Management principles, tools and techniques. Together, we can enhance Project Management professionalism through our chapter activities, meetings and other educational programs.
